Mrs. Huang took us to Damshui for the whole day which was fantastic.  So much to eat! Here we are having a quiet tea at the gallery Art Pillar where the show, "Bucket Man" is being held on floor 1 and 2.

At the market there are yummy snacks.  This was a seafood wrapped omelet.

At Yingge

Carin Wu took us to the pottery village of Yingge where they handcraft beautiful ceramic cups, vases, and pots.  This place is covered with cobbeled stones and is quaint, a lovely place to have a tourist stop.

Min Chuan Univeristy Design Building

We met many lovely teachers at Min Chuan Univeristy.  This photo is the entrance of the design building.  This building is beautiful and the inside is similar to a cave with circular walls and small cicular holes that act like windows where you can peer into the next room.

Jan Ross with her painting

Jan Ross explained how her work is about how life changes, it is always in transience.  The butterflies have a short life span and they are delicate creatures who when touched are damaged.  The background wattle also continually falls off, then re-grows again in a cycle.  The Australian sky in the silhouette has clouds which change as also people can change.
